How
the Game Show Works
What
games can I play ?
Just
about any type of game where you can create a DJ/contestant
scenario. Trivia questions, name that song or artist, quiz
questions, and of course GAME SHOW MANIA® are
just the beginning. Many variations of TV game shows, challenges
(physical & mental), and questions pertaining to the business
or industry or the contestants have been popular in many applications.
Where
do I get the games and questions to use in my show ?
GAME
SHOW MANIA® disc one and our Factoid and Trivia Question
& Answer Book for the DJ comes with the Game Show
System. Additional discs and questions are available
from CREATIVE IMAGINEERING. A visit to any toy store
will yield lots of games that are easily adapted to the Game
Show System.
How
many people does it take to operate the system ?
Only
one! The controllers are user friendly. The show host can
easily adjust the score by the push of a button because the
controller automatically "selects" the player position
for scoring when one of the contestants locks out (also known
as the buzz-in). With the push of another button the game
is reset and ready to continue play.
How
long does it take to set up the Game Show System ?
Only
about 15-20 minutes for DJ set up time! One cable, known as
the Comlink, connects the controller to the player positions.
The Comlink cable carries the data and microphone signals.
How
do I market the Game Show System ?
We
have ready to go marketing tools! Full color postcards and
Flyers with blank backs are ready for your text. This is a
quick, easy and cost effective way to get your marketing off
to a great start!
Who
uses these Game Show Systems ?
Mobile
entertainers such as DJ's and Karaoke Hosts, Party Planning
and Production Companies, Cruise Lines, Nightclubs and Bars,
Theme Parks, Corporate Event Companies, Fund Raisers, Casinos,
Cable TV, and Radio Stations, etc...
What
other equipment do I need to conduct a game show ?
A
sound system, which should also include a CD player if you
are going to play GAME SHOW MANIA®. The output for
sound from the Game Show Controller is a standard line level
output that is compatible with line, CD, or auxiliary inputs
on any mixer or amplifier. CREATIVE IMAGINEERING offers
a Powered Podium Package that has everything you need to complete
the sound portion of the game show.
How
portable are the Game Show Systems?
The
player positions are designed and built for the road, therefore
they are very portable. The master controllers easily mount
in a standard 19" wide rack. The GSS-III controller is
5,25"H x 7"D, and the GSS-4 controller is 3.5"H
x 7"D.
